I think that means she managed to use a UK installer.

I had her download and install the US version, but it still opens as the UK version. So I had her uninstall and then install again with the US installer and it still opens as the UK version. Does that mean that the files that cause TMG to open as UK didn't get removed by the uninstall?

I have created it as a vcf chart but have no clue how to get it printed. Is there a way to save it in a format that commercial printers could use? When I tried to save it as a pdf it was four separate sheets and I want one long sheet that I can frame. Could you give me some guidance? I would greatly appreciate it. I have looked at the discussion here but I am still stymied.

Now I have 550 missing exhibit files. All of my exhibit files are in the folders associated with each person and not in a single Exhibits folder. Is this the incorrect way to save exhibit jpg files? My way of thinking was that this was more organized than throwing them all into a single directory.

I ran the File Integrity check as Jim Byram suggested in this thread. the resultant message was:

It's well hidden. You right-click on the box on the chart, and choose "Detail Properties." In the Components dialog that opens, select the one starting with "Text" that you want to edit. There will be separate lines for each line of text in the chart box. Then click the Properties button. The program starts and shows the menus, but hangs when trying to load the project. This appears to be occuring on multiple computers and with multiple projects. If the Internet connection is turned off before starting TMG, everything starts correctly. Thus, my guess is that the hanging on loading the project may be caused by TMG trying to connect to a server before loading the project.

Anybody have an idea if something changed this month to cause this issue? Any workaround other than turning off your Internet connection before starting TMG?

While I also cannot reliably reproduce this I have developed the belief that it is caused by a combination of two factors. First, I believe it more often occurs when the Master Repository List is set to sort by ID number. Next it only occurs for me when trying to add a repository to the Source. The Repository Link Entry Screen will open with zero in the Repository ID field. Clicking directly on the binocs to immediately show the Master Repository List "sometimes" produces this error. But pressing F2 to show that List always seems to work. Usually the first attempt at this just after opening TMG is error free!? It is later attempts (after who knows what activities) which (sometimes) produce the error.

I HATE these intermittent errors! I suspect TMG is sometimes trying to open to a repository with an ID of zero which is causing this, but cannot reliably repeat it.

Oh well, thanks for looking at this. I am choosing to ignore this and develop the habit of using F2, although new habits are hard when one is 80!!

Based on the error message, I'm surprised that your efforts to refresh the index file didn't work.

Maybe there's an error in the repository table or memo file. If you haven't added a repository since your last backup, add the repository .DBF and .FPT files from your last backup (or a previous backup). Be sure to reindex after the change.

My main project which I have been using for decades has developed a new error. I hope you can help.

I create a new source, go to its Attachments tab, click on the '+' to add a repository, TMG pops up the Repository Link Entry Screen. I then click on the 'binocs' to select a repository and get the error:

Index does not match the table. Delete the index file and
	re-create the index. 20
	FRMREPOSITORY2_RNLISTROWS_ASSIGN

If I click "Ignore" the Master Repository List pops open and I am able to select an link a repository to the source. Further any later attempts to link a repository during that TMG session do not produce the error. But if I exit and reopen TMG I get the error.

I have done all the maintenance routines, including reindex, and even deleted all CDX files to have them recreated. Has no effect on this error.

Any suggestions? I hate running with an existing repeatable error.

I finally figured it out. My brain hurts.

It ended up being a Windows Defender issue that I had no idea about. There must have been an update within the past year or so since I last used TMG, or I played with Windows Defender settings re: my Documents folder, which was blocking access to TMG and causing the errors. It's now working again with no errors and backups are working again too. Sheesh.

Here's how I fixed it, in case anyone else runs into weird Visual FoxPro errors like this. (this is in Windows 10 - it may be slightly different in Windows 11 or later):

Go to Windows Security (I typed Security in the Search box in Windows and clicked on Windows Security app).

Click on Virus & threat protection.

Click "Manage settings" link under Virus & threat protection settings

Scroll down and click "Manage Controlled folder access" link under Controlled folder access.

On the Ransomware protection screen, the switch under Controlled folder access was "on" for me. Click on Allow an app through Controlled folder access link.

Click on the 'Add an allowed app' button and select 'Recently blocked apps' if this issue just started happening.

It will show a list of apps that have been blocked, one of which should be tmg9.exe. Click on the + button next to tmg9.exe to allow access.

Voila. That should fix it. Wow, that sent me down a rabbit hole I really didn't want to be in. :-)
