2014 Conference

I am fully aware that Bob has delegated the coordination and "planning" of this years conference to Julie Atkins and Craig Scott, but it has been some time since there has been and update (or I missed it because of email problems). If there has been and update since the 3 Mar 2014 newsletter I would appreciate it if someone could send it to me at ron.stonehouse@stonehouse.ca. Pre-cruise research trip

Has anyone heard anything about the 3 day pre-cruise research trip to NARA in Washington led by Craig Scott? I sent an email weeks ago signing up for the trip and asking if they realized that Monday the 14th was a federal holiday, but never received a reply. So I'm wondering if anyone else has heard from them?

Sadly, Donn Devine has withdrawn from the conference because of concerns about health issues.

Laura Prescott, professional genealogist and past president of the Association of Professional Genealogists (APG) has kindly agreed to fill in, however. Her lecture titles and descriptions are posted with the others on the cruise page, http://www.whollygenes.com/cruise.htm .

We're still working on a few details but a Cruise News newsletter should go out tonight with more details.
