I'm running Windows 7 64-bit with, as some other posters here, a small SSD C: drive and a much larger "ordinary" hard drive, E.
When I installed Version 8, the program offered what I now understand to be the default folder for single-users: C-Users-[user]-AppData-Programs-TMG8.
I tried to change this to E-etc, but the program would not install. As I recall, I also tried to put it in E-ProgramFiles (x86)-TMG 8, but that wouldn't work either.
I eventually gave up and let it put itself where it wanted.
Would now like to correct this and get the program installed to my E drive.
I have read through many posts on this forum and on the rootsweb list. I've seen instructions there about deleting various folders from various places.
However, all the posts have emphasized that I must reinstall in EXACTLY the same folder as the previous installation - which is precisely what I DON'T want to do.
I have the 30-day trial of V 8.02 downloaded, and my data safely backed up. Is there any way to get rid of the old installation and put TMG where I want it?
