A TMG v8 data base imported into TMG v8 from Roots Magic via GEDCOM 5.5 has tags GEDCOM, _UID, and Person_Sour that appear in the individual data fields along with Birth, Death, etc. More significantly, they appear in reports, such as Journal articles, as separate unwanted sentences. The Edit Panel in the Tag Type List will not let me delete them and says to make them inactive, but unchecking the Active box does not seem to help. How can I get rid of these annoying relics of the GEDCOM process?
