  1. Dates on married names

Thanks John - another simple solution!
  2. Dates on married names

I've got a mixture of married names with and without dates. Any clues as to an easy way of removing the dates from those that have them, ie the reverse of what's possible in TMG Utility? Thanks, Christopher
  3. Research tasks

Ouch ... I've just switched my brain on and sorted it out
  4. Research tasks

Thanks for the suggestion, Teresa. Unfortunately, the tasks is associated only with a person - one who no longer exists Is there a way of bringing up all research tasks, rather than ones associated with a person. I've done reports of lists of tasks, and that's where I'm noticing that this odd tasks keeps reappearing. Thanks, Christopher
  5. Research tasks

I've deleted a person from my database, but a research task which was associated with him is still appearing when I do a task list. Is there any way to delete this task? Thanks for your suggestions, Christopher
  6. Sentence help please

Wonderful help thanks, Terry and Michael. I'll go off and play some more. Cheers, Christopher
  7. Sentence help please

Hi, Could someone please have a look at this syntax and tell me why the [P] is producing the person's name in full and not a pronoun. I know it has to be something simple - it always is - but I just can't work it out. Seems to be working in other tags in the report for the same person. In [D], [PF] appeared on the electoral roll in the Division of [LCN]. [P] was living< [LD]>, [LCI], [LS] and [PP] occupation was given as [M]. I've tried [RF:Principal] and that works, but I can't get it to capitalise. Thanks for your time, Christopher
  8. I have created a tag type called Birth P. I want this to be the primary birth tag. I have just merged some datasets and the new data is handling the Birth P tag fine, but they are not marked with the asterix to make them primary. Is there any way I can make them primary by a bulk run? Thanks, Christopher
