  1. Managing dna data

I am glad that TMG allows for the collection of dna test data. Unfortunately, this revolutionary development in genealogy does not appear to have led to the development of many tools for managing such data. I have invested several hundred dollars into dna projects and follow many surname projects. It would be very useful to be able to compare tests, report on participants within my own genealogy data, and track projects.
  2. Exporting witnessed events to GEDCOM

But shouldn't there be a way to tag a census appearance as a shared event for export purposes? Perhaps as an option during the export process?
  3. After a little searching online and in the forum, I am still looking for advise on how to import witnessed events such as census appearances to gedcom. Is this possible with TMG?
  4. I am wondering if anyone has a good suggestion for documenting Canadian and UK jurisdictions. I am finding some important differences especially with the use of civil parishes in England that don't correspond with those given in the Standard US Place Style. On another note, I wish place selections could be made from the existing master place list when entering new data.
  5. Does anyone have suggestions for recording land purchases and sales in TMG, perhaps using custom tag definitions? I have land record data that don't lend themselves to standard "Land Grant" or "Land Patent" tags. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
