  1. Individual Narrative Report

Terry, thank you for your fast reply. I'll have to work out what's best - neither is ideal for what I want, though I think the other reports are really not what I want. Adding the witness option will be really time consuming, but is maybe the route I'll go. I'll have to think. Thank you so much for clearing that up, Sue
  2. I would like to produce an Individual Narrative Report that includes details of the birth of children. i.e. one that prints the Son-Bio and Dau-Bio tags, including memos included in the tags. I’ve tried going into the Tag Type List for the -Bio tags, then the Roles and Sentences screen, and inserting a Sentence Structure, but it doesn’t save this sentence. Is it possible to do this? Thank you.
  3. Problem with Tag Labels

Problem solved - see note in main forum
  4. Is this a glitch? You can change a tag label once, but not a second time, in the English (UK) version. I couldn’t see this discussed elsewhere – sorry if this is a repeat. I’ve tried to explain it below When the overall setting is File, Language, English (UK) Go to Window, Master Tag Type List, Tag Type List screen appears Select, for example, the Child-Bio tag to edit. It comes up as Language English (UK) You are then able to change the name of the tag. For example, I changed the name to Child-xx. It accepted this change. However, although it let me make the original change, it does not let you make any further changes to restore the original label. To make any further changes, you have to go to File, Language, and select English (US). The go to Window, Master Tag Type List, Tag Type List screen appears Here, the tag appears as its original name. In this case, Child-bio. However, this is because it is in the English (US) version, not the English (UK) version. Select this Child-Bio tag to edit. It comes up as Language English (US). Change it to English (UK), and the name Child-xx appears. You can then edit this back to Child-Bio. You can then change the overall setting back to File, Language, English (UK), and the label is then correct. It would be better if you could make unlimited changes in the English (UK) version, or not make any changes at all Thanks for listening Sue
  5. I have recently started using TMG. While customising the settings, I’ve encountered two problems. Here is the first. I’d be very grateful if someone could help me. Thanks. In the Tag Type List, I selected the Mother-Bio tag, clicked on the Edit option, and changed the Label “bio” field to “xx”. This then changed all the ~bio in the Tag Type List. I then tried to change the field back to “bio”, but the program won’t let me. How can I do this? Is there a way to restore defaults? Thanks. Sue
