All my reports have suddenly gone crazy!
Chris13 replied to Chris13's topic in Older Products and Versions
DOH! Not quite, but almost! My wife was printing labels on our label printer for her eBay sales and used MY computer and set the label printer as the default printer!!! Been paranoid after the IE7 upgrade...glad that wasnt it! Thanks! -
Im running TMG 6.11 and my validate file integrity returns 0 errors. All of my reports were working just fine, until yesterday. This suspiciously corresponds to my upgrade of the recently released IE 7 browser. Has anyone else encountered this problem or know a way to fix it? Output to a file doesnt seem to output a file either...Ive tried word and html. When I print to screen, the page opens zoomed way in, and when I zoom out, the text is giant, and looks like its formatted for landscape, as it extends off the page.

You could create ancestors named 'Unknown' to block out how ever many levels deep you wanted the ancestry chart to show. Kind of an icky workaround but it would do the trick.

Wrong preposition used for location variables in sentence structures

Awesome! You guys are great, and so is TMG. Complex enough to be a real tool! Thanks!!! -
Wrong preposition used for location variables in sentence structures
Chris13 posted a topic in Older Products and Versions
Is this a bug, or can I change the preposition used before location variables in sentence structures? Examples: He died before 1860 at Scott, Arkansas. He was born circa 1805 at North Carolina. The help file examples use the preposition 'in' which IMO is correct. Using 'at' makes my Narrative reports grammatically incorrect. Help file: (Sentence Examples) [P] was married <to [PO]> <[D]> <[L]> He was married to Jane Smith in Fairfax, Virginia. Thanks Chris -

Hi, Im trying to follow advice I read here about moving a large set of people using a focus group. I have 2500 people in a focus group and when I specify Move People>People in current Focus group>Dataset 3:<datasetname> I get an error returned. "Variable 'CUSTYPE' is not found. 0 MOVEPERSON2" [Abort/Retry/Ignore] Retry doesnt work, Ignore doesnt work, and Abort leaves a progress bar hanging until you close TMG. (Reminds me of the old DOS disk error message! ) Please help, I really need to move this focus group. Thanks Chris Benson
