How do I make a sorted marriage list
khursta replied to khursta's topic in Older Products and Versions
Thanks Terry, I will continue to reply on the TMG rootsweb board--easier for us all to follow on one board--I didn't know how to use that board when I first asked this question. -
How do I make a sorted marriage list
khursta replied to khursta's topic in Older Products and Versions
I tried this and it "sort of" worked. For some reason it did not pick up ALL married couples, and I am not sure why. I checked it with the "other program" list and the people are in TMG and recorded as married but they did not show up on the TMG list. _______________________________________________________________________ -
In my previous genealogy program, Heritage Family Tree Deluxe, I was able to make what was called a "sorted marriage list". It contained their ID number, alphabetically listed husband's name, wife's name, date married and place. It this type of list able to be made in TMG 6? I would also like to make the same list as above with the wife's name alphabetically. Thanks in advance.

How do I--Create a report with .......
khursta replied to khursta's topic in Older Products and Versions
THANK YOU Jim !!!!!!!!!!!!!!---This just saved me lots of time adding each spouse manually. -
I would like to create a report of "list of all people" BUT I would also like to include the females married names as well as their maiden names (like you would see in the Project Explorer list). Is this possible? If this is not possible and I would have to create 2 different lists---then how do I get a list of the married females with both--maiden and married names in the same list? Better yet---can I print the whole Project Explorer list?

I am a new user of Version 6.12 (received for Christmas). I received "The Master Genealogist Users Guide" also and have recently purchased the first 3 dvd helpers. So how much would I really get out of the above title book? I saw the offer for the scratch and dent sale of them and might be considering one. Kathy -
