  1. All of a sudden, 657 events have defaulted to one source. For example, a 1850 census for John Stilwell, gives the source as #864, the Kenney-Gates marriage. Thankfully, the citation detail remains correct. Source #864 was created fairly recently, yet the events are some I entered years ago. I'm at a loss as to what to do next. Even if I went through all 657 events and managed to correct them, how could I make sure this doesn't happen again? Help!
  2. Hi all, I've got citations for all my tags, but many citations, especially those that came as a result of adding mulptiple people at once (where the surety field is unavailable), don't have surety values listed. I'd like to be able to globally assign surety values for tags that don't have them. The TMG Utility allows me to do this, but only for tags that have single citations. If a tag has multiple source citations but no surety values, TMG Utility does nothing. What's the best way to go about adding surety values to citations with multiple sources? Thanks! --chriscrutch
  3. Hello, I've used TMG for awhile now, and I cite everything very completely. When I create reports, it shows every single citation. For "names", and "births" of some individuals, I have upwards of 50 to 60 citations. Obviously, when creating reports, including this display amount of citations is obviously overdoing it. I have recently found that if I put a minus sign in front of the citation assignment, I can get the citation to not show unless I choose "show excluded data". This works perfectly, and unless there's a better way to exclude citations, and make one, two or three citations primary(to only show only these on reports), this is the best way of doing what I want. If anyone knows a better way, please let me know. So given the way I think I want to do this now, I will have to retrofit all the citations to match this paradigm. Is there a way to globally change all citations from a number to include the negative sign in front of it, for example, change the citation with source number "36" to source number "-36"? Jon Reed
