    I tried to upgrade from 8.00 to 8.02 using "search for update" from TMG. The install produced the following messages: Module C:\Windows\SysWOW64\bbListViewV.ocx failed to register HRESULT -2147024770 C:\ProgramFiles (x86)\The Master Genealogist V8\VFp9r.dll failed to register HRESULT -2147024770 C:\ProgramFiles (x86)\The Master Genealogist V8\VFp9t.dll failed to register HRESULT -2147024770 There is a problem with this Windows installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. The ROLLBACK then proceeded to delete ALL of my TMGv8 program files, data, and icons. I tried re-running the 8.02 install file located in ProgramData\The Master Genealogist v8 Installer, but it didn't work. Then I tried downloading the version 8 free trial install file but it didn't work either. When I click on install it just sits there and does nothing. So what do I do now? TMG has no v8 installer that works at all? In the meantime, will the 8.00 backup work on TMG 7.04? My latest 7.04 backups are way out of date. What is the safest way to proceed? I made a copy of the install log (2MB).
