app.ini not found

I am trying to reinstall TMG 7.03 on my XP laptop.

After installing the Trial version of TMG from the web site, I get the following error:

C:\Documents and Settings\George\Application Data\The Master Genealogist v7\app.ini not found

I have unintalled, reinstalled 3 times with the same error.

Start with a clean slate - and reinstall from an account with administrator privileges.

 

Uninstall the program and delete the four folders remaining after the uninstall:

 

C:\Program Files\The Master Genealogist v7 (program folder)

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\The Master Genealogist v7

C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\The Master Genealogist v7

C:\Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\The Master Genealogist v7

 

If you do not find the 2d and 3d folders above, set Windows Explorer to 'Show hidden files and folders'. That option is in Windows Explorer > Tools > Folder Options > View tab.
