Davidjcie 0 Report post Posted June 19, 2009 Hi I'm using TMG 7 and want to reference an exhibit from many different people. An example - a photo of one headstone with many peoples deaths on it. I wanted to add the exhibit to many death tags. I'm just thinking maybe it shold be in a source and then quoted in many citations. Any advice appreciated Thanks David
ggilbert1 0 Report post Posted June 19, 2009 (edited) If you use External Exhibits, the only thing stored in the TMG data is the path to the exhibit and the thumbnail of the image. Edited June 19, 2009 by ggilbert1
dorisw 0 Report post Posted June 27, 2009 I too want to have individual photos referenced by many people. The problem is that if I add the same photo to more than one, I get multiple image in the Second Site Gallery. I know there must be a way because others do it, but I'm having a senior moment. Thank you for any help. Regards, Doris
John Cardinal 0 Report post Posted June 27, 2009 A single exhibit can be shared by multiple people if you attach it to an event and then attach all the people to the event. An exhibit attached to a person cannot be shared by multiple people; the image can be shared by creating multiple exhibits that point to the same image file, but that's different, and as Doris points out, it may lead to the image appearing multiple times in a Second Site Exhibit Gallery.
