Border - Changing Colours

Hi

 

I am having a "brain not in gear" day today so can sks please help me.

 

I changed the colour of my border a few weeks ago but now cannot remember where I did it. When I go into "help" I can find where it says you can do it but not where.

Although it's unfortunately not totally clear to me "which border" you refer to.... here's a try:

 

File > Preferences > Program Options > Colors

 

in case you either have changed colors for: "Lists" or "Window backgrounds"

Many thanks for replying to my email so quickly.

 

The borders I mean are the frames to each "box" and across the top in my persons view. My box backgrounds are cream and all my accents are set to forms of green and brown which I find very restful on my eyes, I had the borders also in green. This was really easy to work with but I changed over to a new computer last night, dowing loading the trial version and re-entering my key. After I had restored my tree everything was exactly as I had set it, except for the borders.

 

I have tried the "colours" in preferences to no avail.

 

Oh well I will keep on searching.

Ok, understood.

That's NO TMG setting but a setting of your Desktop.

 

Right-click on your Desktop and say "Properties"

Under WinXP a window opens "Display Properties".

Go to the tab "Appearance"

There's a setting "Color scheme" which should actually say (from your description above): Default (blue) > click on "Advanced" and change "Color1" to anything of your liking.
