Ron K 0 Report post Posted July 26, 2009 Tech support is closed. Is anyone on that can tell me how to delete the index file and recreate the index? Thanks, Ron Church
Virginia Blakelock 0 Report post Posted July 26, 2009 Ron - The index files are the approximately 29 files in your project with the extension .CDX. With TMG closed, delete those files and they will be recreated when you open TMG. Virginia
Jim Byram 0 Report post Posted July 26, 2009 If Virginia's suggestion does not resolve things, it might not be one of the project file index files. The full error message and the context of the error message are important.
Ron K 0 Report post Posted July 27, 2009 Virginia and Jim, thanks so much for your help. Virginia's suggestion worked. It took me awhile to find where they were located, but when I deleted 29 .CDX files and restarted the program it indexed and I was up and running just in the nick of time! betsymil 0 Report post Posted February 25, 2013 I got a FoxPro error message this afternoon and had to close the project. When I restarted the program, I added a new person, but in trying to add the Citation Source, I get the error message: ---------------------------The Master Genealogist---------------------------Index does not match the table. Delete the index file and re-create the index. 56 TMGAPPOBJ.MREPPUSHS---------------------------Abort Retry Ignore --------------------------- I deleted all the .CDX files and when I restarted the program, it indexed. But it is still giving me the same error as above. Next suggestion? Thanks! Betsy
