Suddenly problems with Win7 32bit

Recommended Posts

Morning all.

I think that this may co-incide with a windows update last week, but now when I go to add an image I get as far as changing subdirectory to my exhibits folder and windows throws an error and closes TMG (7) down. If I don't go to use windows explorer all appears to be stable.

Has anyone else started to experience this? I have rebooted and run maintenance on the files, but it doesn't appear to help. I might try in safe mode if noone else is experiencing the same problem.

I may have found a partial answer.

I have my TMG Exhibits folder in a Win7 Library folder. If I manouvere to the exhibits folder using Windows Explorer (i.e. not using the Library shortcut) it (Windows Explorer) doesn't crash quite so much.

Delete TMG Exhibits Library folder and recreate. So far a lot more stable, but still has crashed twice, but not every time now so at least it is workable.
