When I use the Check for updates facility, I receive a dialog box which says "Associated Application Not Found - No application in c:\program files\tmg is associated with the update engine so it cannot check for updates. Please make sure that this software is installed properly."

I have re-installed the program and still receive this message.

 

Also - is there any way that I can import data from Family Tree Builder (From the My Heritage website) into TMG7 ?

The workaround for your 'Associated Application Not Found..' problem is here.

 

I assume you would use Gedcom to import your data into TMG, since Family Tree Builder supports the Gedcom export capability, but someone else will have to verify that.
