Upgrade to v7

Hello,

 

I had v6 on my old computer which had crashed and now I have only projects folder contents.

After installing v7 the program says I must install v6 in order to use the backup feature so I could import my projects with v7.

 

So I tried to install v6 and I got the following error while installing: "can't open mfc42.dll" (located at c:\windows\system32).

I've tried two files: one I got from Wholly Genes when I bought the program few yeras ago.

 

Therfore I can't backup my project for v7 nor use my license with v6. Any Ideas?

Looks like your using Windows XP, if this is correct download the following from microsoft Visual C++ 6 runtime libraries , install and restart your pc and then see if that resolves your issue?

Actually it's Win7 x32, not XP.

I've tried to install VC++ 6 but it has failed.

 

Also I already have mfc42.dll under system32.
