mourne 0 Report post Posted August 26, 2011 How do I link a daughter already in the data base and shows up on her fathers card, mother was added later as spouse to the father, how can I link the daughter to her mother? I tried to add the id # but was told it is already in use (which I knew but thought it would automatically insert that persons name). B Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Double-click on the Mother label in the Name box (top left) and when the relationship tag opens, enter the mother's ID# in the Parent field. If you don't know the mother's ID#, you can click on the [binocs] button to the right of the Parent field and select the mother from the Picklist.
