Terry Reigel 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2011 Vernon, That character typically appears on the key itself with a break in the middle, like two hyphens running vertically (I have no idea why). It is usually on the same key as the backslash character, so requires the use of shift key. On many keyboards it is on the lower right, below the enter key. The separator is two of those characters, so you need to enter it twice.

Virginia Blakelock 0 Report post Posted December 4, 2011 Vernon - If you use split memos a lot you can make a text macro (Tools / Text Macros) of a series of double pipes - with a space between each pair || || - to save time. It also helps readability if you leave a space before and after your text; the space does not appear in the output: || text || more text || Virginia
