6rtury 0 Report post Posted April 27, 2013 It's been a while since I've generated a chart, and found that I am unable to to do so as of today. Don't know when the problem may have started, or why, but the error message I get is: Problem signature: Problem Event Name: APPCRASH Application Name: vcf.exe Application Version: 3.2.0.13 Application Timestamp: 46da0bb5 Fault Module Name: ntdll.dll Fault Module Version: 6.1.7601.17725 Fault Module Timestamp: 4ec49b8f Exception Code: c0000005 Exception Offset: 00033ab3 OS Version: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.256.1 Locale ID: 1033 Additional Information 1: 57a4 Additional Information 2: 57a4f336f9b558fa5bc3270314257e11 Additional Information 3: 3caa Additional Information 4: 3caa8690aabe1960925c676248315597 I can produce some reports for this same focus person, but no Desc. Chart of any flavor. Restoring from a backup is not a good solution since I don't know when the problem started. Is my only solution to reinstall from a full (trial) version? Virginia Blakelock 0 Report post Posted April 27, 2013 Judith - Try resetting the report to its Defaults. If v8, there is a Reset Defaults button under the configuration name; in v7, use the Delete button and reply Yes to the prompt. Are you using v7 or v8? Win7, WinXP, Vista? x64? Check the surety settings in the report definition / Other tab. Both 'No Threshold' and 'Include blank surety' should be ticked. I do not believe a restore is called for. Sounds like problem between TMG and VCF or a Microsoft problem. Have you tried rebooting? Can you do a Descendant chart for that person's parent, to include the person? Can you create a Descendant chart in the Sample project? If you are including an image, try the report without it. Using a .png image, for example, will cause a crash.
