Marguerite1911 0 Report post Posted July 21, 2013 Hello,I am trying to produce a report but am having trouble with the "Report Destination " section using Report Definition screen . I can manage the 'Save to' aspect & have saved a number of reports in Microsoft Word BUT am unable to get results when trying to use Screen Preview or Printer; instead I get a window that says: Locate: cdintf-1dll (in top left hand corner)thenLook in: Master Genealogist v8then below a selection of filesthen finallyLocate - Blank spaceFiles of type DLLI have absolutely no idea what to do with this window.I am learning to use TMG using "A Primer for The Master Genealogist" by Terry Reigel, but am unable to find an answer.PLEASE can someone help.Thank youEvelyn
Virginia Blakelock 0 Report post Posted July 21, 2013 Evelyn - Make sure you have installed the PDF printer: File / Printer Setup / Install PDF printer. TMG needs a printer driver to format the screen. Do not use the Printer option on the report definition screen. Virginia
Marguerite1911 0 Report post Posted July 22, 2013 Thanks for your suggestion Virginia, I tried this, but got the following message "Printer set up failed. Error code 1722. The RPC server is unavailable" I would be grateful for any further suggestions. Evelyn

Marguerite1911 0 Report post Posted July 24, 2013 Hello Virginia, I run Windows 7 on a laptop with a printer attached. It's an HP Photosmart109. Thank you for your continuing help. Evelyn
Virginia Blakelock 0 Report post Posted July 24, 2013 Do you have the current TMG version - v8.08? Are you in fact using a server? The RPC Server message is not coming from TMG, probably from MIcrosoft. You might try Googling for the RPC server message and see if anything applies to your setup. You can also contact WG support: support@whollygenes.com. Virginia
