V8 Margin settings

Using Windows 7 32 bit and TMGW 7.4

 

The only reason I will update is to access more margin options. Can anyone tell me how many options in V8 please? . Only two in V7.4

In v8 you can set the four margins independently, in a range from 0.0 inches to 4.0 inches. To set the margins, click on the Properties button on the middle right side of the Report Definition screen. This will open the Printer setup screen (screenshot below) with the margin settings.

You can download the 30-day trial version from here and try out the margin settings and the new report formats before you buy the product. Note that you can run both v7 and v8 on your computer, but once you open a v7 project in v8 you cannot open that project again in v7 - so make backups of v7 projects if you want to experiment with v8 or use the Sample project in v8.

Hi Virginia

 

I was thinking that would be better but thought it may be problematic. Will the back up show the colours I have?. In fact this is a question I wanted to ask.. I colour coded all the lines that I have recently revised and now I cant remember how I did it. I kept changing the whole project..

In the Backup Wizard, Step 3 Options, you can select the options to backup your accents and filters along with your project.
