Deleting All Tasks

Recommended Posts

Since you can select only one task at a time in the Research Log, the answer is no.

You can only delete all tasks by editing the research log data table.

However, here's a work-around. (Be sure to make a backup before doing this.)

1) Create a new project. Copy the L.dbf and L.fpt files from the new project to your desktop.

2) Rename the two files to match the filenames in the project from which you wish to delete the tasks.

3) Copy the two empty research log files from your desktop to the project folder replacing the corresponding two files.

4) When next opening that project in TMG, be sure to reindex.

File / Maintenance / Reindex

Now you should have a project with no tasks.
