TMG v9 with Windows 8 - invisible text

I have been using TMG for many years and now have Vn9 US on a desktop PC runnign Windows 7.

I have just bought a notebook running windows 8 and am finding that much of the content on the screen

is invisble. Seems to be something to do with colour selection - i.e. having text foreground and background

colours the same - so text cannot be seen. Have tried many things but am a newbie to Windows 8.

Can anyone advise please? Going nuts here.

I have no idea how you would get in that situation.

 

Try...

File / Preferences / Program Options / Colors /

Click [Load] and select the default (or some other) color scheme.

In TMG, go to Preferences / Current Project Options / Colors, and see if the text color (button A) is set to the same color as the background color (button with 3 dots).
