John MayBee 0 Report post Posted December 20, 2014 With the release of ver 9.04, Family Trees Super Tool apparently no longer works. What can my coorespondents use to read the files?
Jim Byram 0 Report post Posted December 20, 2014 FTST2 is compatible with TMG7. Using v9.04, you would need to do a GEDCOM export for correspondents to use. Alternatively, your correspondents could use a program that can import the TMG9 database such as RootsMagic 7 and, eventually, Family Historian 6 and Legacy 8. Michael Hannah 0 Report post Posted December 20, 2014 I would also recommend either creating a Journal report in TMG V9.04, or creating a set of Web pages to send them using the companion Second Site program which then would be viewable with any web browser. John MayBee 0 Report post Posted December 20, 2014 Thanks all, I will consider Second Site
Terry Reigel 0 Report post Posted December 21, 2014 John, I agree with Michael about the use of Second Site for sharing your work. It produces a much more reader-friendly result than FTST and doesn't require the reader to use any special software.
