Buzz 0 Report post Posted February 6, 2016 I have just purchased a new desktop computer. I have successfully downloaded the TMG 9 program onto the new computer. From my former laptop I have two projects that I want to import/download into the desk top computer. The program seems to require a file with a .pjc extension. My projects have a .sqz extension obviously squeezed. In the new computer all data is on the D: drive and the programs are on the C: drive. Can someone explain how to import the projects to the new computer? Thanks, Buzz
Terry Reigel 0 Report post Posted February 6, 2016 Buzz, I think my article Moving Data to New Computer or Version should help. The .pjc file is a small text file that contains key information about your TMG database, but none of the data. The data is contained in 30+ files with the same name but various extensions. The .sqz files are backups - that is they contain copies of all the other files compressed into a single file in ZIP format.
Jim Byram 0 Report post Posted February 6, 2016 You use File / Restore to restore backups. You do not import them.
Buzz 0 Report post Posted February 9, 2016 Thanks to all who replied to my topic. I have now successfully downloaded my data from both projects. Thank you, Buzz
