Sorting problem in search facility

I have a large TMG database with about 160,000 people

When I do a search and ask to sort on ID number I get about 20 random numbers (high numbers) and then the correct sort (i.e. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5,etc)

I tried reindexing but that didn't correct it

Any suggestions?

Exactly how are you doing a search and sorting?

 

Did you run optimize, validate file integrity, optimize and then try sorting again?
