PollyH 0 Report post Posted December 6, 2005 I have been trying to embed a citation in an event sentence and have been unsuccessful as the Tag Entry screen locks up. I select the Sentence button in the event, right click in the sentence where I want the citation to be inserted, choose Embedded Citation, select the source number from the Master Source List, click through the surety popup window as I don't use sureties, the program returns to the Tag Entry screen and locks. I cannot click any of the buttons -- OK, Cancel, Help -- that screen is locked. I tried centering the present window, to no avail. Since I can select the centering option, I assume the program is not totally locked, just the Tag Entry screen. I tried all the maintenance routines, also to no avail. I tried deleting the CDX files (don't know if that has anything to do with it but it seems that that solution is mentioned often when people are having problems). I tried rebooting my machine. None of the above helped. I'm using the latest version of TMG on a Windows XP 2002, SP2 computer and I have plenty of RAM and hard drive space. Terry Reigel 0 Report post Posted December 6, 2005 I see the problem, Polly. It seems that the Tag Entry screen comes on top of the Sentences screen, and there is no way to get back to the Sentences screen. I'll report the issue. In the meantime, you can resolve the problem this way: 1. After you click on the Sentences button to open the Sentences screen, move that screen so that some part of it extends beyond the edges of the Tag Entry screen (which at this point will be below the Sentences Screen). 2. Proceed to enter the citation. 3. After the citation is complete, and the Tag Entry screen appears on top of the Sentences screen, click on the exposed part of the Sentences screen - this will bring it to the top and you can close it.
