Problem with Imported Old Style Dates

I imported my data from PAF. I had many old calendar dates in the format

21-jan-1726/27.

These have apparently imported in the form

"Or:1726/01/21-1727/01/21"

 

1) How should these dates appear?

2) How can I put it right?
