You don't have to remember to check for TMG updates. You can configure TMG so that it automatically checks for updates every few days (or any interval that you specify). To use this option, access File > Preferences > Program Options > Startup and Exit. Now if the specified period has passed when you next open TMG, it will automatically check the web site and let you know if a new version of the program is available for downloading.
