cassandra 0 Report post Posted September 13, 2006 I must be trying to fix this to hard because I can't get this to read out correctly or should I that makes sense. Not sure if I should use Grantee and Grantor or something else. I don't seem to like the wording on Land tag. I was wondering how other people do this? Any suggestions would be great. Terry Reigel 0 Report post Posted September 13, 2006 I enter them with one of three custom tags: Land Buy - for when my person of interest bought land. Sentence: [P] In the M1 memo segment I enter the description - "80 acres on the Rapahonack" or whatever. In M2 I enter anything else of interest, like the amount of consideration or the name of the seller. Land Sell - for when my person of interest sold land. Sentence: same except change "purchased" to "sold." Land b/s - for when both buyer and seller are of interest (and in my data set). For this one I use Roles: Buyer sentence: [R:Buyer] bought from [R:Seller] [M2]> Seller sentence: [R:Seller] sold to [R:Buyer] [M2]> These have grown up over time. But as I look at them now, I see I could use only the last if I put the second party in Conditionals, like this: Buyer sentence: [R:Buyer] bought Seller sentence: [R:Seller] sold [M2]> If I did that, the Land b/s tag would work for everyone. Just don't enter the other party if they are not in the data set, but rather enter them in the M2 segment, if desired, or just ignore them.
