gene-fiend 0 Report post Posted October 24, 2006 I cannot seem to find any tips on images. Do they need to be sized for using in the program or do you use your original photos and resize later? Sherry I use my originals as they are for TMG. However, for output to the web via Second Site, I have a secondary folder with scaled down versions of them. One possible "problem" (not so much a problem, as a nuissance) is that if you use your photos as is, when running a report and including the photos, it may take a while to build the report due to the size of the photo files. Of course, all that varies depending on how you save your original photos in the first place.
SherryC 0 Report post Posted October 24, 2006 Thank you for replying! It does give me something to go by. When I scan I scan large. I will redo a photo depending on the use, i.e. emailing would be a much smaller file. From what you say, I see that it would be best to make a smaller version for viewing and printing to certain reports, then using the Properties to state where the photo original was kept should you wish to do a larger version. Again thanks so much! Sherry
