But I suspect there is some issues when creating reports to Excel (list of people or events) as it seems to be the only time error messages pop up (but the reports are ok). Just open the second project, and say "No" when asked if you want to close the current project. Depending on your monitor size and resolution, you will likely need to adjust the layouts to get useful part of both to display at the same time. You can also open the same project in two different "instances" of TMG, so you can look at two people, tags, sources, etc. at once. You can edit in both of them as they are both working off the same set of files. TMG will prevent you from editing the exact same record in both instances at the same time.
