In this case, make your backup to a folder on your hard drive and then copy/burn the .sqz file to the CD. When Restoring from a CD, you may wish to repeat the process - first copying the .sqz file to your hard drive and Restoring from there.

I always backup to my hard drive and burn to the CD from there. I have always been able to restore direct from the CD with no problems.
