Funeral tag

Here is my Funeral tag:

The Principal has the role of Deceased. The sentence is as follows:

Deceased: The funeral service for [RF:Deceased] was held <[D]><[L],> officiated by [R:Minister]<. Pallbearers for the funeral were [R:Pallbearer].>

Witness roles and sentences:

Pallbearer: [R:Pallbearer] was a pallbearer in the funeral of [R:Deceased]<, [D]><[L], >officiated by [R:Minister]

Minister: [R:Minister] officiated at the funeral of [R:Deceased]<[D]><[L]>

The only thing I would change would be to make it

<, officiated by [R:Minister]>

instead of

,> officiated by [R:Minister]

That way if you didn't know the name of the minister, you wouldn't have to change the sentence structure any.

Thanks, Teresa. That does make sense.

Do you end up with separate sentences for each of the 6-8 pallbearers, or have a sentence that lists all pallbearers in a single sentence? Do you have a similar sentence or sentences for honorary pallbearers?

Joel,

Are you talking about the narrative for the Deceased? The term "<. pallbearers for the funeral were>" will output the names of all the pallbearers. All [R:rolename] variables list all the people with that Role except when they are used in the Sentence for that Role. In that case only they output only the name of the one subject of that Sentence.
