Membership: Membership is open to users of the TMG software. Membership information, along with a membership application, can be found on our website (see below). We welcome members from all over Arizona, beginners through advanced.
(Membership is by the calendar year, January through December.
Meeting Information: Meetings are the 2nd Saturday of every month, January through December. The meetings are held from 10:00 A. M. until noon in the meeting room at the West Valley Genealogy Society Library, 12222 North 111th Avenue, Youngtown, AZ. Our website contains the meeting schedule and topics.

Meeting info:Meetings are every 2nd Saturday of the month from October* thru May. Our meetings are held from 1:00 to 3:3 p.m. in Room 3117 of the University Medical Center, 1501 N. Campbell Ave., Tucson, AZ. Consult the TMG TUG website for directions to both UMC and to Room 3117. The website also contains the meeting schedule, topics and handouts.
*The October meeting is a field trip to Mesa for the annual Arizona TMG Workshop with Bob Velke (presented by the Sun Country TMG Users Group).

Arizona State Genealogical Society. ASGS membership is not required to attend the TMG TUG meetings. Each meeting begins with a 30-minute Q&A (preferably submitted to the coordinators at least a week in advance) then a two hour presentation. The meeting room is equipped with a PC, projector, high-speed internet access, VHS and DVD players. Seating is stadium style and is padded -- very comfortable.
No food or drink (except bottled water) is allowed in the meeting room.

Description:
The Marin County TMG Users Group is part of the Computer Interest Group (CIG) of the
Marin County Genealogical Society. You can participate in either or both groups. Many of our members are previous UFT users who have transitioned to TMG.
Our purpose is to provide information and user help for effective utilization of TMG through education, product knowledge and the sharing of ideas and experiences to enhance our genealogy research.
All users from the Newbie to the Advanced user are welcomed to join our group.
Our group is intended to serve TMG users in Marin County but visitors from any Bay Area County are welcomed.
If you have a specific problem, bring your TMG backup (.sqz) file and be sure to bring your own laptop and wireless network card. If you don't have a wireless network card, you can check one out from the receptionist at the front desk of MCF where our meetings are held.
Bring questions and we will attempt to answer them.

News:
The first Marin County, California, TMG Users Group fist meeting was held on 22 June 2005. We've been meeting ever since and we've covered many features of TMG and other software tools.
We also had several user questions answered and each of us learned something new.

Meeting info: The Sacramento Area TMG Users Group meets the third Saturday of each month at 11AM at La Bou Bakery & Cafe Meeting Room, 10909 Olson Drive, Rancho Cordova, CA. All users from the Newbie to the Advanced user are welcomed to join this group. Our goal is to help each other and share our thoughts, ideas, uses for, and problems with using TMG.
Olson Drive is off of Zinfandel at HWY 50 in Rancho Cordova. We use the private meeting room in the back of the restaurant at no charge, therefore, La Bou is expecting that we will purchase some of the beverages and food they have to offer while we are there. Please get a receipt for any food or beverage purchases you make at the meeting.

The TRI-VALLEY TMG USERS GROUP is associated with the Livermore-Amador Genealogical Society (www.L-AGS.org). We meet in Pleasanton California which is part of the East Bay near San Francisco. We accommodate laptops which are connected to a digital projector, allowing customized personal assistance to attendees. Our meetings are similar to a 3-hour hands-on mini workshop.

Purpose: The TMG-GAUG was initially formed to provide a mailing list for local genealogists who are using, or interested in using, TMG. We now have monthly meetings to work on questions and explore new features of TMG5, TMG6 and related programs.

The Boston Area TMG Users Group is a new organization seeking to educate users of "The Master Genealogist" (TMG) and to share experiences with the program and other useful computer software related to TMG to research and record genealogical data, to utilize the data, and to display and share the data. It maintains a mailing list on
