I've just upgraded to version 8. The installation went smoothly, but I've got some questions about how the product coexists with Version 7. I opened my v7 project to convert and that went smoothly, but a backup defaulted back into the v7 directory. I've gotten an upgraded project in the V8 project directory and have forced a backup into V8 backup, but during the backup I still see lots of references to V7 directories. I suspect I am missing some settings that change where the files are saved and where the V8 project looks for tags and so on. What have I missed?

Cary,
Sounds like you need to go to Preferences > Current Program Options > Advanced and update the paths there. I thought those were supposed to update when you restored, but maybe I've got that wrong.
