In addition to the many functions already described, Family Tree SuperTools includes a Tools menu with a number of helpful utilities, including a relationship calculator, calendar, and date calculator.

The Regnal Date Converter is a unique tool to help you decipher a date like "25 March 9 George II" that you may encounter in your research in Britain and her colonies.

Many of the preceding chapters have referred to options with which you can modify the behavior of program features.

The Preferences screen is accessible from the File menu and from most right-click menus. It includes dozens of options that are organized into categories.

Family Tree SuperTools comes with extensive documentation through its context-sensitive Help system.

Press the F1 key or access Help through the Help menu in order to find an explanation of any window, feature, or option.

You can also search the Help system by keyword and annotate it with your own notes and reminders.

The Help menu also includes a series of Tips and Hints to help you take the most advantage of the features in Family Tree SuperTools.

These helpful tips cover many basic concepts as well as point out some of the program's more advanced features.

By default, a new tip is shown each time that the program is started.
