I am trying to merge a data base I imported as a ged file but am getting an error message " Variable Galanga is not found", I havn't had any problems in the past?? How do I fix this please.

When I tried to update V7.0 I received an error message "No application is associated with the update engine so it cannot check for updates" TMG then shut down.
I tried uninstalling and reinstalling thinking this may fix the problem. It just made it worse. Now I cannotupdate to V7.3.
Same error message and program shut down.
How can I overcome this.
Running Vista Home Premium.

I am having trouble importing a ged file into Version 7. I am receiving an error message "VARIABLE GALANGA IS NOT FOUND" Then the program freezes. I never had this problem in the past. Can anyone assist please??
