Expanded memo field

In the past I could hover over a memo and see the whole memo. I have reinstalled and now I can't figure out how to make that work again.

To expand the Memo field, click on the Memo button directly over and toward the left of the Memo field.

Right click in the tag list of the Detail Window and check Show item tips on Person View....

I think Paul has it right - you are asking about the Memo field in the Details view (expanding it with Item Tips) - and which you lost in Preferences when you reinstalled - and I was thinking about the Memo field in the Tag Entry Screen (expanding it with the Memo button).
