ckworld 0 Report post Posted December 2, 2005 I just bought TMG Question: I have imported from Legacy with Genbridge. Worked fine. I have a lot of Dutch names with presurnames, like “van Tol” or “ van der Roest”. After import alt the presurnames came out as a full surname. How can I change all the “ van Tol” ‘s in onte time and separating the presurname and surname without changing them one at a time. Is that possible
Scott Black 0 Report post Posted January 21, 2006 I made a somwhat similar request. I imported a file with names capitalized and wanted the case changed. See the reply to my post on "Gang Updating Names". Basically, the answer is using John Cardinal's TMG utility. There is a link to the utility in the reply. It worked for me. Hopefully, it is flexible enough that it will solve your variation of the problem too.
