dahill 0 Report post Posted January 23, 2006 Under Web > Place Databases we see links to four place databases. Clicking on Customize shows the actual URLs: I have verified that they are all correct. However, when I click on any one of them, errors are introduced in transfering the information to Mozilla Firefox. Example for placenames in Canada: http://geonames.nrcan.gc.ca/ is the correct URL, seen under Customize. The data transfered to Firefox is http://\\geonames.nrcan.gc.ca"/ . The added characters are \\ and " . Is anyone else having this problem with Firefox or Explorer?
