Michael Vance Baker 0 Report post Posted October 9, 2006 The following error occurs when I added a new female spouse. Data type mismatch. 0 TMGAPPOBJ.MINSERTTMGNAME Abort Retry Ignore Clicking Retry or Ignore do not work Clicking Abort, then OK results in "The specified ID number is already in use. You can use F2 to search unused IDs." Clicking Abort, then cancel results is "Are you sure you want to lose changes to this screen? Yes No Clicking No results in "The specified ID number is already in use. You can use F2 to search unused IDs." Clicking Yes, results in the pop up winddow going away And looking at the Details Window, it looks as though the spouse was not added. If you click last, then last again. The original view returns, and the spouse is listed. After doube clicking on the newly added spouse. I see a tag with no tag type. If I delete the tag and edit the marriage, the Nam-Marr tag is sucessfully added. If I close and open TMG, the problem goes away. After the program has been running for a few hours the problem returns. Has anyone else experienced this problem. It has been happening to me for the last two weeks. PC OS - Win XP Pro TMG - v 6.09.000 thx, mvb
jbuchanangb 0 Report post Posted March 1, 2007 Hello mvb63 Something similar happened to me, running TMG UK Gold Edition 6.12. When I added a husband and said Yes to "create a married name", I got: Data Type Mismatch 94 TMGAPPROBJ.MINSERTTMGNAME After about 4 clicks on Ignore, the action seemed to complete. Then I added a Marriage of two existing people in the database, said Yes to "create a married name", and had the same experiance. If it happens again I'll check back here.
