  1. Thank you for such a quick response! I'll get that a try.
  2. Twice in the past three months when I went to open TMG, I have gotten the following message: "Structure version is missing. Contact tech support for assistance." Both times I immediately shut down the program. When I went to try to open TMG again one minute later, the program opened and everything seemed to work fine. I have also used TMG multiple times inbetween these two occurences without problems -- but seeing this message twice makes me think something is wrong. I'm also having serious problems trying to back up my files to a CD. The backup process starts with the Wizard, and you can see on the screen that data is being backed up --- and then after 2-3 minutes the program freezes. Some data has been backed up, but not all of the files. I've tried multiple different CD's, but nothing seems to help. Any chance the "structure version" message is related to the backup problems? I'm using TMG 6.07 -- If anyone has any suggestions on what the message means -- or why I might be having backup problems, I'm all ears! Candy
  3. Copying one branch of a Project

WOW! Tricky is right.... No wonder I couldn't figure that one out! Thanks very much for the directions -- I will try it out!
  4. Hi! I have one database that includes all of my ancestors on both sides of my family. I now want to make a new project based on only one branch of my family. I tried using Focus Groups and Project explorer to selectively delete (or retain) certain individuals, but these options only allow me to delete (or retain) ancestors/descendents & spouses. I want to take all of my grandfather's ancestors (including their siblings, children, etc.) out of my existing project and put them into a new project. Any help would be much appreciated! Candy
