I use v6. I have encountered a name variation that will need to be applied to at least seven people in a family. When I first encountered this family in an earlier cencus, the surname was spelled HASE. In later censuses, the name is spelled HAESE. I know I could make name-var entries for each member (make new name primary, keep old name as variation, make appropriate notes). Probably wouldn't take much time, but I hope to know my software capabilities better and am wondering if I could make these changes universally for this specific group of family members? THANK YOU!
