Due to language issues I have created new Place Style with new Output template.

However, all previously created places are with old style. To change Style of a place I need to go thru places one by one.

Is there a way to change Style to all places in a one go?

1. There may be a better way (there often is with TMG) but I would filter on

 

Any Event .. memo contains OR

Any Event .. any place field conatins OR

etc

 

A tad messy but generally you know where that data is so you can be more specific

 

2. Use the List of Events Report or John Cardinal's TMG Utility

 

3. Use the List of People Report (or List of Events) or John C's Utility

List of Citations

Filter:

Citation Detail Contains (some text) END

such as:

Citation Detail Contains page 29 END

List of Citations

Filter:

Source Number = (number) END

such as:

Source Number = 14 END

 

or

Source Number = [?] END

(In this case, you will be prompted for the number when you run the report.)

I used to use UFT and it had some search features I cannot find in TMG.

1. Searhing people by any text in any field?

2. I can find search by event memo text, but not Citation detail text?

3. Searching people who are connected to certain source. In Master Source list there is number how many times cites, but how to find out who source has been cited to?
