  1. Not really - perhaps if you are a woman Tasting the dough could be fine too - but sometimes it causes stomach pain If Whollygenes searches beta testers (for geman language or english) .... I will do this job
  2. Wishlist: Place names

  3. (I've only had a quick look at past postings and can't see this one there, so sorry if it is a repeat) I would like to have a dropdownlist by enter place names. This would avoid multiple entries in the Master Place List because of typing errors. I entered german cities with City, State, Country and even LatLong (to make unique). And so you have to insert all fields for every person for every event. That's unpleasant . Or do I something wrong? Better: AddOn like Gazetter in Map My Family Tree or Microsoft Virtual Earth in Family Tree Maker 2008 (Beta). This would be great!! Markus www.kalina-online.net
  4. Wishlist - lock dataset

I'm working also on 2 computers. To update my databases I'm using Microsoft SyncToy. You don't need to edit a batch file with DOS commands. You can create folder pairs with this options: Synchronize: New and updated files are copied both ways. Renames and deletes on either side are repeated on the other. Echo: New and updated files are copied left to right. Renames and deletes on the left are repeated on the right. Subscribe: Updated files on the right are copied to the left if the file name already exists on the left. Contribute: New and updated files are copied left to right. Renames on the left are repeated on the right. No deletions. Combine: New and updated files are copied both ways. Nothing happens to renamed and deleted files. And if you want you can create Scheduled Tasks (see SyncToy Help) in windows - you can't forget updating the databases To download: SyncToy Downlaod Markus www.kalina-online.net
