I installed the upgrade from 7.0 to 7.1 and noticed a significant slowing down in the performance of TMG, especially when building the exhibit window. I uninstalled 7.1 and reinstalled 7.0 and it was fine. Figured I'd wait for another upgrade. Now I just installed 7.02 and experienced the same performance issues as 7.01. I uninstalled 7.2 and reinstalled 7.0 and everything is fine again. Is anyone else having the same performance issues? I'm running Vista on an AMD 2.1 GHz triple-core processor with 3MB of ram so I don't think it's the machine. Any thoughts out there?

Well, how about if I told you I have over 19,000 names in my data base? I ran a filtered report that shows there are about 10,000 names that have a blank Living flag. I sure don't want to have to change the flag manually for 10K names! Is there a way to change the blank ones to "?" automatically without messing up the ones that are right? I imported from FTM about 6 months ago. Did that cause my problems or any idea what did? Any other ideas?

I am discovering that there are a number of individuals in my file that have nothing in the "Living" flag field, it's blank. Is there an easy way to change this? I have tried TMG Utility that supposedly changes the field to "N". It doesn't work and I'm guessing that is because the field is blank without "N", "Y", or "?" in it. Any ideas?

I'm "playing" around with TMG wondering if I want to switch from Family Tree Maker 16 (14,000+ individuals). Lots of reasons to make the switch! Have a question: When I import directly from FTM to TMG, it seems that none of my source images (census images, birth and death certificates, etc.) import into TMG. At least I can't seem to find them if they're there! Am I doing something wrong? The Scrapbook images import fine but not the source images. Thanks for any help you can give me!
