  1. Print large charts to PDF

Virginia, since Wholy Genes dropped TMG, I have made an ancestor chart for my grandchildren (who weren't born yet in 2014). I have created it as a vcf chart but have no clue how to get it printed. Is there a way to save it in a format that commercial printers could use? When I tried to save it as a pdf it was four separate sheets and I want one long sheet that I can frame. Could you give me some guidance? I would greatly appreciate it. I have looked at the discussion here but I am still stymied. Peggy
  2. I have created an ancestor box chart but don't know how to get it printed.  I tried saving it as a pdf but it  comes out in four pages and I want one large printed chart.  I'm afraid I don't understand enough of how to do this.  I thought I could take it to Staples or some place like that but I don't know how to get the right format.  Can you help?

There are topics in the Visual Chartform and Chartform Delivery forum that discuss this. Start with Virginia's topic.

  3. Thank you so much, Terry. I now have the chart I want to print. My grandchildren will love it. Peggy
  4. Terry, I copied the existing box for the two additional siblings. I just cannot figure out how to edit the data in the new boxes. When I click in the new box it has a four arrow cross and I have looked at everything on the toolbar and cannot determine which will enable me to edit the data.
  5. Several years ago I made an Ancestor Box Chart for my three granddaughters. I started the chart with the eldest but was able to add a box for the other two into the chart. I now want to make a chart for my other grandchildren (three) of a different family but cannot remember how to add those two boxes beside the first granddaughter. Can anyone help me with this?
